Self Portrait of sorts

Trying to come up with a new Deviantart ID. I'm out of town until tomorrow so hopefully when I get back I will still feel artsy and have the motivation to finish this lol.

Insecurties

It's a rainy day here in Houston. I don't like drawing by artificial light, so I figured I'd play with my neglected wacom tablet.
I realize I forgot to put the word "make" in here. It's just the sketch anyway.
Finished. This is every woman I have ever known. I don't feel the need to rant about body image issues, because I have done that more than enough times.

More random acts of art.

This is the sketch I came up with for the tattoo I have on my arm.

Went to Walmart and sketched some little fishies that were in the aquariums in the pet section.

Partially inked.

Painted this on a friend's wall.

Portraits.

At the beginning of this year, I told myself I would draw a portrait a day. That only worked out for about three weeks. Although I did notice an improvement in that time.

Sketchbook Project.

I'm participating in Art House Co-ops Sketchbook Project.

Here's a sample of a few things I've bothered to make digital copies of.

8/17/10
9/1/10
10/19/10
11/9/10
11/11/10

The boyfriend.

I'm totally guilty of drawing super obnoxious and sappy couple stuff when I am in love. So sue me.

Pixel Junky

I think did this in October. Scott Pilgrim inspired. Done in photoshop.

She looks like something I need.

A quick sketch I did earlier in the year. I still like her.

Little octolady.

This is a piece I did over a year ago for a friend. Done with inking pens, prisma markers and pencils. Inspired by Milk (an extremely talented vector artist who does a lot of lovely tentacled ladies). Also yoinked this right off my DA account, hence the watermark.

My lovely octolady.

I always feel the need to show off this drawing. It took me many, many, many hours because of how intricate the details in the hair and tentacles are and also, this is a pretty large piece for me. Lines done with my old Wacom tablet in Photoshop. Please click to full view because I'm too lazy to upload anything other than the this PNG.

Another attempt.

I'm so terrible at keeping up with anything. Honestly, I would just like a place to upload things to show to people without needing to interact with them regularly to make this a successful blog.

Anyways, I'm going to be using this for posting up artsy farts. Enjoy.
